The Obertauern toboggan run at the Gnadenalm is 1.5 kilometers long and floodlit every evening. The starting point and finish are right next to the Gnadenalm (4 kilometers before Obertauern). The Skidoo toboggan cab takes you up the mountain in comfort - the ride alone is worth the trip. There is space for up to seven people on each snowmobile, then the toboggans are hooked onto the side and off you go. You can hire toboggans directly from the Gnadenalm.

Tobogganing in Obertauern is certainly never boring! There is also a second toboggan run at the Gnadenalm. This starts directly in front of the Südwienerhütte and is around five kilometers long. In winter, the forest path to the Südwienerhütte is leveled, so nothing stands in the way of a fun toboggan run during your family vacation in Obertauern! You can hire tobogganing equipment directly at the hut.

Horse-drawn sleigh ride in Obertauern.

Romantic, cozy and decelerating. A horse-drawn sleigh ride through the snow-covered winter landscape around Obertauern is always an experience. Wrapped up warm in blankets, you can enjoy the leisurely glide, accompanied by the clatter of hooves and the occasional snorting of the two horses. The one-hour ride can be booked daily between 11 am and 9 pm.
